Sascha

Sascha

Sascha is the technical voice of WHISKY:EDITION. Since the shared whisky awakening in 2007 with a Dalwhinnie 15, his focus has gradually shifted from "I like it" to "why does it taste this way". He feels at home in the peated Islay universe, collects sherry-cask moments, and gets equally excited about American bourbons and rye whiskeys. When tasting, he looks for structure, cask character and craft – a whisky is allowed to polarise him, as long as it fills the glass honestly.
