Tasting Notes
Nose
Christmas! Gingerbread, cinnamon and cloves dominate the nosing at first. A hint of honey wine flashes through briefly in places, but is quickly replaced by spices, dried fruit and plums. As if that wasn't enough, cranberries, dried cherries and yes - really - Nutella follow after some time in the glass.
Palate
We continue our visit to the Christmas market with caramel and the sweet, full-bodied flavour of red fruits and a juicy mango. Roasted almonds and star fruit are not to be missed. Cheekily, there is also a little chilli kick hiding in the corner. The alcohol is wonderfully integrated as an intense flavour carrier.
Finish
The Glenlossie remains long and warming with bitter dark chocolate and a little aniseed.
