Nose

The first sniff makes you feel like you're on a secluded beach after sunset. There's a hint of campfire smoke in the air, mixed with a pinch of ham - but don't worry, it's not BBQ overkill! Instead, sweet vanilla crescents mingle with it, perfectly balancing the smoky touch. Warming and inviting without being overpowering.

Taste

The first sip confirms the nose: gentle smoke meets a creamy texture reminiscent of warm honey. This is joined by an unexpected maritime note that provides depth but is never too salty or overpowering. The whisky is full-bodied, enveloping and always remains pleasantly warming.

Finish

Medium length, but with character. The smoke slowly fades away, leaving behind an earthy note. Pebbles? It may sound unusual, but anyone who has ever savoured a light sea breeze whisky will know what is meant.

Thoughts

A Speysider with a smoky twist - but everything in moderation! This whisky offers a warm base note, a subtle but present smokiness and a pleasant maritime flair. If you're looking for peaty monsters, you've come to the wrong place. However, anyone who wants to enjoy a Speyside malt with a gentle campfire flavour will be well served with this drop. An elegant, unobtrusive companion.
